Reverse the Speaker Output of a Wav?

I have a stereo sound effect. Is there a program I can use to reverse the speaker the sound comes out of? In other words, the sound that now emits from the left speaker, I’d like to emit out of the right speaker and visa-versa. Thanks!

Yep. It’s called “speakergrab.exe”, and you’ve downloaded it by reading this post.

Install as follows:

  1. grab right speaker in left hand.
  2. grab left speaker in right hand.
  3. move speakers
  4. listen and enjoy!

Well, assuming he wants to do it for some sort of video or audio editing reasons…, there are probably several programs that can do this. First one that comes to mind for me is Audacity. Since I don’t have a copy of it to test on right now, I’ll just have to say that I’m sure there’s an option similar to what you speak of on there somewhere.

Bingo. I’ll try to find that program you mentioned; I hope it’s free

Okay, I download the program but can’t figure out how I might go about switching the two speaker sounds…

That worked perfectly. Many thanks!

Audacity is a fantastic bit of freeware; we used it for editing and mixing loads of stuff for a community radio station last year. You can easily swap channels with it by splitting, then recombining the track.

Happy to serve.
