Awesome presser, if the NFL has any sense (which is an arguable point) they will leave this alone as I don’t believe he technically violates any NFL policy or rules.
Yeah, i wondered, as i was watching it, whether he was actually violating any rules. My sense was that he had thought pretty carefully about exactly how much he could say, although i guess it’s also possible that he did it knowing that it would cost him money.
I was remiss, also, in not giving a shout-out to Doug Baldwin. Sherman did most of the talking, but Baldwin and his cardboard cutout were an integral part of the whole thing. If Sherman gets fined, Baldwin might also cop some punishment.
He should do this more often. I love it.
Loved it. I doubt it will ever happen again or have any effect except to make restrictions on what players can & can’t talk about more severe.
