I disagree with Rick’s head’s glowing opinion of Tenet. I mean, the protagonist is never given a name and called only “The Protagonist”. That’s just lazy.

(Dammit, I meant to find a way to watch that movie again so I could participate in the thread here—which is probably dormant by now.)
Anyway, I’ve loved both the last two R&M eps. I like the way the writers’ room clearly looks at past episodes for threads to follow into new plots. ‘What would have happened to Snuffles/Snowball on that planet Rick sent the dogs to?’ ‘What would happen if a person were slow in going fully through a portal?’
Always thinking, those writers…
Summer at one point says something like “So the body does keep the score”, which one assumes is a reference to this.
Also, it was good to see Summer get a larger role after she was mostly absent in the prior episodes this season.
Agreed to both. Of course when the series started, Summer was similarly sidelined (until Rick gradually started to see her as ‘a good hang.’)

No. I really enjoyed the episode. The line is a quote from the episode, and I thought it was great.
Sometimes I suspect they made Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie just so people would stop debating about the Worst Episode.
Anyway, I’m with @Ike_Witt —I loved this last episode. All of Season 9, really!
A lot of the season has been great, but there have been so many of those long fight sequences, which I think are pretty dull.
WELL, the new season is over. I thought most of the episodes were bangers, and it’s safe to say I’ll be tuning in next season. I do notice that we had a few episodes based on previous Rick and Morty backstories or subverting aspects of the show–I hope that’s not an indication the writers are running out of ideas.
Just finished episode 10. Thought it was a really good one. Thought as a whole it was a really strong season.
It was a season where I thought I might rewatch some episodes, so it beats 6, 7 and 8 for that.
Evolution and last one was pretty decent. Long since got bored with god rick so all that stuff for me is now spacefiller. Broken portal gun one was decent too.
