This is a shocking thing to hear. Part of me wants to really believe that this is some sort of mistake or misunderstanding.

I am very sorry to hear this. Such sad news.
We lost a beloved poster suddenly on another message board I was on… his Mom became part of the boards & read a LOT of stuff about her son she probably didn’t wanna know. But it was way overshadowed by the outporing of love she saw there too… In fact he was so much a part of the group there a couple of folks from the forums did part of his eulogy on our behalf. He wouldn’t have cared about the more embarrassing tales. That was just how he rolled. I miss him. I’ll miss** Auto**.

I’ve held off posting in this thread with the idea that I’d open it up and there’d be a post from Autolycus explaining that reports of his passing have been exaggerated.

I didn’t mean to start a hijack. Reasonable people can disagree, it depends on his parents whose feelings right now are more important than ours, and it really, really sucks that he’s gone.
Has anyone discovered how he died?

I would like to know as well; it bothers me for him to die so quickly and to be so in the dark about what happened. I know we aren’t actually in his life(weren’t, I mean), but I still feel close enough that I can’t help but wonder what happened. 
It was a medical problem as opposed to one of violence. And whatever it was, it came on very suddenly.
That’s all I know.

Coming in way late to this thread. Auto was a good friend, and I miss him. I had talked to him a week or so back, and was talking about visiting him; Acid Lamp told me about his death on the same day that he posted, but I’ve just now gotten here. May he have passed peacefully.
My condolences to his family, who are charming and wonderful. They raised a great guy with a ton of potential and good work.
Does anyone know if there is an online funeral book we could sign?
