The way she said, “Hello, Mr. Incredible” made me wish she was saying it to me. I remember looking her up at the time to see if she was as hot to see as to hear. And yes, she looked exactly like the voice sounded.
I loved Pena in Rush Hour and The Incredibles. She was such an underrated actress, and it’s so sad to hear that she’s gone.
May she rest in peace.
Very attractive woman.
Very good actress.
I was already stunned that she was portraying Sofia Vergara’s MOTHER in Modern Family when she only 12 years older than Vegara.
She was very good (and quite sexy) in her role in Jacob’s Ladder.
I remember watching I Married Dora on Friday nights. I didn’t know she did the voice of Mirage!
Although she was far from my ideal in looks I always found her incredibly sexy. Damn fine actress too. I first noticed her in Jacob’s Ladder. She was great in Lone Star which was a fine all around movie. She always seemed to stand out regardless of what she was in. She grew up bilingual so it’s not hard to believe she was good with accents but I was surprised to see that she was from New Jersey.
Yes, same here. She played Gloria’s mom on Modern Family and I thought she didn’t look so well.
Nooooo!
I had such a crush on her when I was young.
I don’t remember where I first saw her, but I had a crush on her too. Watching the YouTube video of the opening of I Married Dora seems familiar, but I don’t remember the actual show.
I did buy Lone Star because she was in it. I was glad it turned out to be a good movie and I really enjoyed her performance.

Too bad - I really liked her. Her voice was perfect for Mirage - sly, sexy and intimate - in The Incredibles.
Yes, and when you look at how her appearance evolved, it starts to add up that she basically drank herself to death. Boy, that saddens me. But I know nothing about her life and what she wrestled with.
It’s done now.
