I may be the only one who fondly remembers I Married Dora.
Nooo! She was just in the new show Matador! And was also the voice of Mirage in The Incredibles.
Yes, heard this and it was a surprise. Just watched The Incredibles with my daughter the other day.
I recognized her face on the news, but I wasn’t sure where from. I checked her filmography, and it was probably as the bomb squad woman from “Rush Hour”.
Goddamnit. We’re losing too many people that I like.
She was good in “Lone Star,” which may be the only thing that I saw her in.
Definitely gone too soon.
I mostly remember her from ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ and ‘La Bamba’.
I remember that show. The most incredible series finale ever–“green card” husband is flying off to a new job (or something), leaving her behind to run the house (?). He steps back in and says It’s cancelled. EP says Your flight? He says No, our series! She gets on the plane with him and they fly off together. Neat.

That was my thought as well—not sure I saw any of her other films. Lone Star is a terrific film, and she was great in it.

I remember her most fondly for bringing on the creepy in the the creepiest scene in the uber creepy Jacobs Ladder.
I remember that fondly as well. Great way to end a cancelled series.

55 is pretty young for “natural causes”, no?
55 is young for any reasons, unfortunately. 
But there are lots of heart conditions, cancers, birth defects, etc that affect people at young ages that would all fall under “natural causes”.
I was shocked when I saw this on my news feed last night. I knew who she was right away from the name. Usually I have to see a face to recognize a character actor but I have always loved her voice and I thought she had beautiful eyes.
Yes, 55 is too young. RIP.
