Longtime Doper LiveOnAPlane has passed away unexpectedly.
He wrote a humorous reminiscence of his boyhood in the last issue of teemings , and was going to have another piece in the upcoming issue. I emailed him yesterday about the latter, and his daughter responded today with news of his death. He was 60 years old.
Condolences to the family.
R.I.P. LiveOnAPlane .
If I were to fully express my shock, the words I would choose would not be appropriate to this thread. This news is indeed unexpected.
I send my condolences.

My condolences to the family, and my thoughts are with them.
I didn’t know LOAP but for what it’s worth, it sucks to lose a Doper-in-arms. Condolences.
Oh, no! My sympathies to the family. I don’t suppose his daughter said what happened?
So sorry to read this news. Condolences to the family.
Very sincere condolences to the family and friends. It sucks, losing a member of the SDMB family.

Thanks Twickster for letting us know. Any loss to our community is sad.
May whatever gods there be, be with his family during this difficult time.
No she didn’t, just that it was unexpected.
My condolences to the family.
