Seth Cook, best known for his battle with the disease progeria, has died at the age of 13.
He always seemed like a really neat kid, and I’m sorry to hear of his death.
Seth Cook, best known for his battle with the disease progeria, has died at the age of 13.
He always seemed like a really neat kid, and I’m sorry to hear of his death.
I remember seeing him on a talk show once. It was the first I’d heard of the disease, and I was fascinated and saddened and horrified(for him, not at him) all at once.
Poor kid.
Even though I didn’t know his name I do remember seeing some shows about him. It sounds like he and his family tried to mke the best of a sad situation. Hopefully those trials of that new treatment will end up helping other kids with this terrible disease.
The linked article says, “An avid reader, [Seth] . . .was in the middle of listening to “Voyage of the Dawn Treader” by C.S. Lewis, one of his favorite authors.”
So, from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader:
Safe journey.
Aw. God by’ye, Seth.
It was on the front page of the Seattle P.I. yesterday morning. It brought tears to my eyes when I saw the story.
