Considering that the last time the OP logged in was over 11 years ago, I’m not sure there’s much of a way to convince him otherwise, yerpherp.
Now ive read the article, I think I understand now. I found the interview funny. Like on Hash Pipe he sings about his boogies gettin’ outta control. People think he is ina jokey type of band, and when he is joking people think he is not.
I just read the interview, and found it hilarious. More respect to Rivers Cuomo.

Weezer MADE good music. They have been pretty crappy for about the last 4 albums. It seems nowadays each album has 1-2 great songs and the rest suck ass.
And yes, he is a super douche. The original hipster douche actually.
