Peg – “Done up in blueprint blue, it sure looks good on you”
All my artists have been identified and all the songs except jollification, decorously and ** belladonic** from artist #1.decorously and jollification are not all that well known, although decorously was more popular than jollification.Belladonic, however, was from a huge hit.
Well, you should see that jackboots hasn’t been identified either from artist #2.
That would be “Polythene Pam.”
‘Decorously’ is from Brighton Rock delivered in a high falsetto.
‘Belladonic’ is from Keep Yourself Alive. A bigger hit in Europe than the US.
‘Jollification’ is from Seaside Rendezvous from A Night at the Opera.
Don’t trade Queen factoids with ME! Arh!
Why not?
He will, he will, ROCK YOU!!!
Because I would have recognized your handle before the expanded CD was released!
I followed Queen religiously, including pilmgramiges to London, from about 1976 onward. I would have been 9 years old then.
Hey thats great! Always nice to meet a fellow Queen fanatic.
No takers? How about an easier one…

Jethro Tull. Sperm is from Thick as a Brick. Balls is from Locomotive Breath.
[spoilers]Good one, Mad!
Panties also from Locomotive Breath…[/spoiler]
D’oh! Sorry folks… screwed up my spoiler. And come to think of it I was wrong:
panties is from Aqualung, of course!
Yep, and “rubbing” is from “Minstrel in the Gallery.” I was trying to stick with some of Tull’s best-known songs; I just realized I should have used “nuts” from “Bungle in the Jungle”!

Johannesburg
Vladivostok
Baghdad
Denver
I’ll guess Warren Zevon: Johannesburg = “Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner”, Baghdad = “The Envoy”, and Denver = “Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead.” Don’t know about Vladivostok.
Labdad–You’re quite correct, sir! I assumed that Vladivostok would be the most obscure of the 4, but I just love that he managed to work it into a song.
It’s from the song Turbulence off of Transverse City. “We’ve been fighting with the Muhajedeen, down in Afghanistan. Comrade Gorbachev, can I go back to Vladivostok, man?”
