The cites I find report that Europe contributes more to NATO (1.8 billion a year) than the US (550 million a year).
They sent more men and arms to arrest Stone than they sent to Benghazhi. Think about that one for a moment.
Lol. Don’t let Faux News do all your thinking for ya, Old Man.
Perhaps if you’d thought about it for longer than a moment you’d have realized that it’s a nonsensical comparison.
“Harmless white-collar offender” is an oxymoron, anyway. They do a lot more damage than the gangbangers do.
I thought about this cite-free blather for a half-second and then dismissed it as both uncited and irrelevant.
On the other hand, we should totally have had armed paratroopers on motorcycles jumping out of jumpjets* at Roger Stone’s house.
*or whatever that whole hilariously stupid discussion was in that Benghazi thread.
Lying to the cops is more harmful than murder and extortion.
Baffled as to why you think that is a relevant statistic.
I guess Obama wanted to undermine unity as well. He also sought more firepower.
Trump keeps bitching(lying) on how the US carries the financial load of NATO. He has no understanding of the financial/spending structure of NATO. He thinks the US is owed money from the other members.
Shit, Obama basically got on one knee to get Europe to go along with Russia sanctions. They have more interest in trading with Russia than going to war, which aligns with Putin’s desires as well.
I like how you think that’s an argument. Guess again.
I referred to Trump’s approach. Did Obama have the same approach? Did he openly and publicly harangue and insult the other NATO members in order to achieve that end? Was the net effect of Obama’s efforts solely to antagonize those NATO members, as Trump’s has been?
[spoiler alert: no, no and no]
Still wondering how that is relevant to my claims. Trump is trying to increase NATO military spending, thereby strengthening it. Does the fact that he doesn’t understand the facts have anything to do with it? Of course not.
Serious people understand that Trump is continuing Obama policy in regards to NATO.
…difference between shit and shinola.
Of course that has nothing to do with my claims, but go ahead and cook.
Actually the net effect has been to actually get other members to plan increases. Very sad actually.
Ongoing evasion noted.
You mean the increases they had already planned?
Please understand the dynamics between Trump and Putin better than SNL cast members. Pretty please.
I want my moment back.
You expect Donald Trump to adopt the rhetorical demeanor of Barack Obama. Less nouveau riche with a Jet Ski and leopard print furniture, more dad jeans and smart cardigans.
It is less important that they are eye-to-eye on key policy. This is why they coined the term Trump Derangement Syndrome.
