We like the show Royal Pains.
Sure, it is a somewhat over-the-top soap opera with high drama (you never want to say hello to Hank, or you are certain to come down with some oddball disease) and the show has some fun emergency cures and illnesses of the day.
But there are some good storylines.
One we are somewhat sad to hear about…(spoiler below)
Is the supposed death of Boris - our favorite multi-billionaire man of mystery. I say “supposed” as, like any soap, my guess is his death was an elaborate hoax for some mysterious reason. At least my SO and I hope so as we like his character. Plus, he had us fooled - we thought he might actually be German.
Imagine my surprise when I looked up the actor to find that not only is Campbell Scott (aka Boris) not German, he is the son of George C. Scott and Colleen Dewhurst! Interesting bit of trivia!
At any rate - we are glad to see the new season start up and lots happening so far.
