Better than all these remakes, anyway. Yeesh.
Anyway, for people who don’t know, Runaways is a (Marvel) comic series written by Brian K. Vaughn. I think not only could a great film adaption be made, it would also be a pretty popular film - I think it’s got a lot of the qualities that have marked success for other films recently (comic book origin, potential for flashy special effects, kids winning over their parents is always popular with kids). Plus it has the added benefit of actually having a strong plotline, a factor often overlooked in many films nowadays.
What say you, fans of the series? (And non-fans. But I expect there’ll be little of them in this thread. Unless there’s a band or something called Runaways.)
