My cousin-in-law the pulmonologist says the prognosis for this is not good. He’s had a good run - 31 years, and certainly has been an influential figure in American politics.

Sad. Both that he has cancer (He was a smoker; I remember him talking about his “formerly nicotine-stained fingers”) and that some people have so little love in them that they are gleeful about it.
Problem is, I’m an atheist, so I just have the thoughts, and this isn’t the Pit, so I can’t have those either.
Snark aside, I don’t wish a slow painful death on anyone. I simultaneously think he’s done tremendous harm to our country and helped set human rights back by decades, and hope that he can dedicate the rest of a long life to undoing the harm he’s caused.
Moderating: I’m not going to say that posts in this thread have to be positive or sympathetic but if you feel the need to rant about him that would be better suited for the Pit.
