To bring this back on topic (sorta), he commented, wrt his Honolulu hospital stay, that “The treatment I received here was the best that the world has to offer. I don’t think there’s one thing wrong with the American health care system. It is working just fine.”
I think he’s making an error many make in this debate: he’s forgetting that (perhaps arguably, but it needs to be addressed) cost and payment are part and parcel of that system, not just treatment. But then, he’s wealthy enough (and probably insured enough) that it may not occur to him.
I’d say Al Sharpton and Bill Maher, though neither one of those excercises near as much influence among liberals as the Limbaughs and Becks do among conservatives.
