Rush Limbaugh, you are dead to us

I always respected Bill Maher’s position on Pigbaugh (not going to pile on when Pigbaugh’s opiate addiction was made public, despite Pigbaugh’s having savaged people like (Grateful Dead) Jerry Garcia for theirs):

Note: the article was from a year ago, after the diagnosis, and not the death.

But don’t worry, Bill. You don’t have to dance on Pigbaugh’s grave.

We’ve got your back on this one

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy…

I’m glad the skunksucker is dead. And it happened on the same day they blew up Trump Plaza Hotel in Atlantic City! What a great day!

I’m pouring out a shot of drain cleaner in his honor.

Dante would consign him to the 8th circle of Hell, Malebolge, Bolgia Nine, the one reserved for those who promote political and other kinds of discord that damages societies. It sounds like a terrible place.

Wait for it, wait for it – conservatard media and their victim complex.

As I said when Breitbart died: if you want people to honor you in death, don’t be a shithead in life.

The truly best possible scenario is not when the wrongdoer dies, but when they repent, and repair whatever measure they can of the harm they’ve caused. When they die, this is no longer possible. So yes, the death of a wrongdoer is still tragic to at least some degree.

I never feel comfortable celebrating when someone dies, but I generally get over it. Here’s the way i look at it: the opposite of love is not hate; it’s apathy. And I don’t give a shit that Limbaugh died.

Spotted in the wild : “May Limbaugh’s grave be a gender - neutral bathroom.”

Theoretically that could happen; Lee Atwater “repented” his previous chicanery and race-bating shortly before he died, but frankly it did nothing to undo the damage he did and the generation of political operators he educated in his brand of malicious dirty-trickery and unctuous manipulation of public opinion. For the general public, his repentance (which did not include criticizing the GOP or unconditionally disavowing the tactics he used) was quietly swept under the rug.

I think they flew the flag at half staff at the Trump Plaza Hotel to honor his death, and then well, it was imploded…

I’m glad he’s dead. I wish he died sooner. I hope it was painful, and I pray for deep suffering upon everyone who thought he was funny.

Here’s rooting for the old saying “fortune comes in threes”.

George Wallace did too, renouncing segregationism and publicly asking for forgiveness in his fourth term as governor of Alabam. (I don’t know how seriously his repentance was taken at the time…)

Rush, Man, I hope your final days were really fucking painful. Actually, who am I kidding? I hope your final weeks were really fucking painful. You caused untold damage and hurt, and you dead is a far greater thing than you alive. Also, I hope it hurt a lot.

This one’s for you, Rush.

Rush Limbaugh, you are dead to us

Hasn’t he always been, though?
(just a whole lot really freaking dead now )

I didn’t know that he suffered various ailments later in life, so, I hope that each and every time that scumbag uttered something vile and hateful, he felt a little something die in him, like a chest pain or ulcerous cramp or something.

Rest in pieces, medal-waster.

Sorry but in the meantime while we all sit around waiting for this deathbed conversion that is never going to happen, he can continue to make the world a worse place. Only he can change that, and the only way it would happen is with his death. That’s not my fault, it’s his.

But this time he’s really dead. Has anyone gone through his clothes looking for loose change?

Being of a charitable nature, I hope he finds more mercy than he dispensed. Further deponent sayeth not.

Could you imagine if Rush had been on top of Trump Plaza Hotel? You know… right by the beach…?
