“Civil Mutiny” is an interesting turn of phrase. He’s elevated protest to a crime punishable by death.
I think it’s always been a crime punishable by death, in his mind.
I would REALLY like to hear about how that special op got pulled off. Maybe some day we’ll get the details.
How long before we hear Tucker Carlson talking about how this idea of “self-cleansing of society” is terrific, and should be implemented here?
There is talk of the US providing Switchblade drones to Ukraine. Those loitering munitions are much cheaper than Javelin but can also strike from much further range.
No longer just talk. Apparently some kind of $800 Million aid deal has been made which includes the very tactical scale Switchblade drones.
U.S. sending Switchblade drones to Ukraine in $800 million package - POLITICO
And this the drone wars begin.
I just hope it does not go for 7 seasons. If I might be allowed to quote from the Clone Wars TV show:
“The Cost Of War Can Never Truly Be Accounted For.”
cue in D.T., a map and a sharpie …
“You know, i hear lots of people say …”
L’état c’est moi, and we all know what happened to that particular lineage.
CORRECTION:
Putin is thinking about cleansing and purifying his country but he might wind up fomenting a civil war.
Stalin’s Great Purge murdered between 700,000 to 1.2 million Russians/Soviet people.
We can add another 3.9 million to Stalin’s total, due to his efforts in Ukraine. Great guy, Stalin.
Stalin and Putin both psychopaths.
Sounds like he’s getting ready for a Stalin style purge.
Putin is a piker compared to Stalin. Stalin was a real monster. Putin is a wannabe monster with delusions of relevancy…
That’s probably an accurate statement.
If you remember the last days in Berlin the SS tried to kill off people they deemed traitors. Kind of hard to drum up support when the gallows are surrounded by bombed out buildings.
Putin might get away with a few executions before the sheer number of citizens respond in large numbers. He may end up killing himself in his billion dollar mansion bunker.
I think Stalin has a 50+% approval rating in Russia these days. One of my interns a few years back was from Kazakhstan and he had nothing but good things to say about Stalin.
Après moi, le déluge.
