And right on time:
The stakes are incredibly high. NATO has invested so much into Ukraine’s military. We know the US is concerned based upon the leaked documents.
President, Petr Pavel makes a valid point that the calendar shouldn’t be a consideration for the counter offensive. Ukraine should take the time to fully train and equip its forces. There’s no rush to retake occupied territory. Let the Russians wait and grow frustrated. They have to anticipate and prepare for the counter attack.
The next few months are going to be pivotal to Ukraine’s future.

The general rule in warfare is every hour spent in preparation favors the defense over the offense. Ukraine needs to get their counter-attack in gear as soon as the weather permits and not a moment longer. The more time that goes by the more opportunity the Russians will have to expand their trenches, minefields and fortifications in the south.
That’s interesting. Thank you @Cardigan
I was thinking of Eisenhower preparation for D Day. But there was a timetable that they followed.
The original timetable had D Day scheduled for 1943.
Drone army:
I’m hoping that they are going put some cameo on those trucks before they take them out.
Word up.
Post of the month. Year, maybe.
So tell all the boys and girls. Tell your brother, your sister, and mama too, cause the Ruskies about to go down.
Considering they’re most likely going to be found travelling or parking on roads and improved surfaces, white paint is actually pretty good for the purposes of ‘blending into the environment’
I expect the photo is at the armorer/equipment supplier stage and the equipment hasn’t been issued to the crews yet, due to the few number of people pictured. There’s 44 vehicles, so the unit might have around 80-160 personnel.
In that environment, I’d think the best camo would be signs on the sides of the trucks advertising “Pavlo’s Painting Services.” Splash some random colors on the body, hide the drones under a spotted drop cloth in the back. Won’t help if the orcs are blasting anything that moves, but it ought to get them ignored by anybody taking a closer look.
Speaking of those trucks:
What make are they? I downloaded the picture and zoomed in close, but can’t quite place the grill ornament. It’s reminiscent of the Peugeot lion logo.
(went and checked)
OK … they are Peugeots. The ‘2010’ logo shown below is what’s on the grills:
They look like Peugeot Landtrek pick-up trucks.
1923 looks like the lion is going to the litter room…
That, and Russia isn’t just sitting there. They have artillery and missiles in all of the places that they control, which they are using to hit the places they don’t control. The sooner you get them out of the places they control, the less damage they can inflict on the places in range of that.
I read something like that back in the '80s. In a ‘survivalist’ situation, don’t paint your vehicle(s) camouflage. The best camouflage makes them blend in with everyone else’s vehicle.
The DC snipers used a blue chevy Caprice. Made it pretty hard to get an id on their vehicle.
But wouldn’t the drone on the back with the red top give away their cover? Maybe paint the drones white?
