An unnamed current White House official described as being “close” to the president is being viewed as a significant person of interest, according to the Washington Post.
This coincides with another report about someone trying to climb over the White House fence. However, this one was trying to escape.
Let’s hear some wild speculation–if it’s someone close to the president, and it’s not the president, who do we think it might be? Sessions? Bannon? Someone else?

Jared is certainly plausible. Bannon hasn’t been at it long enough to have been a part of Trump’s businesses, so any financial angle wouldn’t make sense, and all of Trump’s Russian-linked buddies aren’t in the White House (Flynn, Manafort, Stone).
I doubt that Ivanka would be guilty of anything that Jared isn’t, and the guy is always the one who takes the fall, so she’s probably safe.
That leaves Jared or one of Trump’s bodyguards (Keith Schiller, Gary Uher, etc.)
ETA: Forgot about Melania. No idea on her. That’d be a HELL of a surprise to have the FLOTUS arrested. So much for Presidential immunity!

Yeah, it would have to be someone who had been with the campaign early on. Bannon wasn’t brought in until after the Russian interference came to light. Let’s hope so, as Jared’s arrest would hurt the Trumps personally, not just politically.

I hope Trump is pleased with the shitty way he treated the Washington Post during the campaign, that couldn’t possibly come back to bite him. The nimrod. Those guys have been relentless. Good.
Breaking into the FBI directors office and stealing his computer files… the comparisons to Watergate are just amazing.
