I think a lot of FBI agents are royally pissed at Trump, so the leaks don’t surprise me at all. They probably know how to cover their tracks well enough.
Credit where credit’s due. They couldn’t have done it without the American public.
That’s not what this is about, it’s in Russia’s long term interests to deal with nations individually, rather than as a bloc of like minded states (NATO, EU, etc.) a destabilized and nationalist US is in Russia’s interests.
This one may be a wild assed speculative conspiracy theory. I just wish that they had involved Pence in the nefarious scheme somehow…
Like Mark Felt.
Chris Hayes (MSNBC) tweeted:
“A source close to the investigation would not disclose the name of the person of interest but noted it rhymes with Bared Tushner”
I was expecting a cheesy parody of the old ‘Family Circle’ cartoon.
One about a ghost running out of The White House with “Believe Me” written across its chest.
20 quatloos on Gorka.
I agree.
dammit
His parents should have just named him “INVESTIGATE ME” instead.
I think it’s Kushner. It’s just like Watergate, follow the money. His personal finances are a mess. He definitely has connections to Russia and China. He’s been reported as advising his dumbass father-in-law to fire Comey. He just put himself on the line by brokering a billion dollar arms deal with Saudi Arabia. His father is a crook.
But he’s such a clean cut kid!!
A bunch of reputable sources are saying (but not saying) that it’s confirmed to be Kushner, which makes things very interesting. Hard to throw someone under the bus when he is married to your daughter. Also, hard to imagine his daughter not being involved as well.
The most delicious part of this story is that the president is trapped for 15 hours on a plane with reporters right now.
I have no doubt whatsoever that:
- These releases were timed to occur after AF1 lift off. I also include the Comey news (testifying in public) in this list. I don’t believe in coincidences and the timing here is just too… coincidental.
It would not surprise me if:
- WaPo and NYT worked in tandem in regards to release times.
There are these two tweets, first the NYT tweeted:
"#FF @washingtonpost "
To which WaPo responded, one hour later, with:
(A gif of Mulder and Sculley clicking beers in celebration, no text)
Both of these came before the news stories were released.
(#FF stands for “Follow Friday”, where you recommend Twitter feeds, and the NYTimes was asking their subscribers and readers to follow WaPo.)
It’s almost as though picking a fight to the death with the entire news industry, the intelligence community, the opposition party and most of your own party is a bad idea.
I wonder if he knows.
I wonder if he knows that he knows.
Who new politics could be so complicated?!
+3
Remember that woman who tweeted a racist joke before boarding an airplane for a 12 hour flight, only to find out when she landed that she had become a viral “sensation”?
This is kind of like that, right? We’re all waiting for everyone to disembark to find out what happened when Trump saw the news on his cable TV programs.
Who says they didn’t? He knew about the investigation of Flynn and about his association with Turkey, and Flynn still ended up as NSA. Then Pence lies about it on camera when he is asked point blank if he knew about Flynn and Turkey. He said, “This is the first I’m hearing about it”, several months after he was informed as the head of the transition team.
The question isn’t whether Pence is involved. It’s how much Pence is involved.
