Is that phonetically close to anything in Russian? If so, what’s it mean.

Sounds like it was “dosvidanya” which means “Goodbye” in Russian.

I’ve seen that movie but don’t recall the scene. But I think if it was when he entered a place, it must have been Здравствуйте (sounds like Zdrastvuyte) which means “Good day” (or “Hello”).
