Sounds like it was “dosvidanya” which means “Goodbye” in Russian.
I’ve seen that movie but don’t recall the scene. But I think if it was when he entered a place, it must have been Здравствуйте (sounds like Zdrastvuyte) which means “Good day” (or “Hello”).
