I was just watching Headline News and the reported that sources claim Saddam Hussein suffered a severe stroke last night. Iraq, naturally, is denying the report.
I have no point to make. Just thought it was post worthy.
Very curious. The link you posted says the rumored stroke occurred Sunday night and Headline News have said twice that it allegedly occurred Monday evening.

1)Saddam’s death would probably cause the UN sanctions to be dropped altogether. There is no guarentee that his successor would be any more pro-western than him.
2)The differences between Saddam & the late Ayotollah Khomeni were a major barrier between Iran & Iraq. If the S.H. dies, an allience against the US, the EEC states & the West in general is quite possible. And no, I didn’t forget the war between I & I.
After much deliberation, I decided to include Muammar Khadafy on my Celebrity Deathpool roster instead of Hussein. I’ll be pissed if that bastard kicks the bucket and gives someone else his 37 points.
Couldn’t have happened to a more worthy guy.
