Pink or red? Because there’s not much you can do to improve pinks.
I used four, 7.5 ounce cans of salmon (drained – cats got the ‘salmon juice’), two boxes of Zat’s, 1⅓ cup Best Foods mayonnaise, and two eggs. The Béchamel was made with three tablespoons unsalted butter, three tablespoons flour, a little under two cups of hot milk, a bunch of dried dill (because I don’t have any fresh), salt, and the juice of one lemon. When the salmon loaf was about done, I uncovered it to toast the top a bit, then poured on some Béchamel and broiled it a bit. Served with more Béchamel, and fresh broccoli.
