Salting peanuts

Does anyone know how to salt peanuts correctly?

They are not that easy to find here in Canada as they have tax on them when they are salted! The few salted ones that I’ve found are not nearly salty enough… so I figure my best move is to salt them myself…

Anyone ever done this?

I’m pretty sure you have to cook them in salty water.

Soak them in salty water for a spell, and then roast them to dry them out. The salt remains on the shell and inside on the peanut itself.
