I don’t know the story, but I seem to get in on the tail ends of these well-wishes. From what I’ve pieced together, it doesn’t sound pleasnt at all.

I can’t imagine Sampiro being banned over this, but I don’t see what CarnalK has to do with this. Then again it’s not a history I’m familiar with. Is it known who the writer of that idiotic tripe is? Seems obvious it’s Dragon Ash. But please Sampiro, hang on in there.

Rest assured, he’s not going to be banned. Sampiro’s a great guy who’s having a rough time of a very bad situation; that some jerks chose to make it even rougher wasn’t his fault, and helps make his decision to lash out at them that much more understandable. At any rate, no banning.

I can understand both elements of Sampiro’s feelings, as I have a relative who has been in the hospital for over a month and whom will probably never return to what he was beforehand, and because I am used to people treating me poorly.
Take good care of yourself, feel free to take off as much time as you need to, remember that all of us who matter wish you well, and, whatever you do, don’t let the bastards win.
That was by far the most justifiable meltdown I have ever seen on these boards, and I’m glad the mods recognize that. Sampiro, you have my sympathy and my best wishes. I hope you’ll come back.

I’ve been a lurking fan of your threads for quite some time. Please accept my sympathy for your mom’s condition. I’m sorry your co-workers haven’t been there for you. Right or wrong, I consider some of my co-workers “extended family” and treat them as such. I’ve helped them with personal crisis outside of work and I’d be hurt if the favor weren’t returned when I needed it. I wish you were my co-worker so I could help you through this time.

Sampiro is a stand-up individual who I credit for giving me advice that helped me get my life on the right track, when it definitely wasn’t. I feel like I owe him big, so I’m adding myself to the long list of people who love his writing, appreciate him, and want to help however possible. In the meantime, I’ll be hoping and praying for the best possible outcomes for him and his mother.

I can’t believe that someone would attack you at a time like this. It seems downright psychopathic to show such senseless cruelty to a stranger.
