Free to good home: 1-year-old Golden Lab/Ridgeback mix (West San Antonio)
We need to find a good home for a sweet and energetic Golden Lab/Ridgeback mix female, named Rue. A couple of unforeseen factor have necessitated that we can’t keep her.
She has been spayed, and comes with a full-sized kennel that she sleeps in. She weighs about 70 lbs now, and may get a little bigger.
She needs a home with a yard. She is very friendly, and does well with children.
We prefer that you ask in advance before posting this sort of offer – technically, it constitutes spam as defined in the registration agreement – but since we’d’ve okayed it, I’m not going to bust your chops about it.
A lot of people recommend asking for at least a nominal fee for an unwanted pet to try to discourage people who take “free to good home” dogs to use as bait dogs or to sell to research labs.
