Yesterday (9-8), at about 1:30pm, I was awaken from my midday nap by the sound of hundreds (maybe thousands?) of motorcycles. It’s the wrong time of year for the Dikes on Bikes. 
There was no mention of this parade on the evening news nor is there anything on any of the local news stations web sites. (So much for local news)
Does anyone know WTF was going on?

Sorry, saw no bikes in Sunset, nor when i took the N line or the 44 up to Green Apple Bookstore. Saw one of those little punks on the motorized scooters that are loud loud LOUD, i’m this close to packing a racketball to hurl at them!
It was strange. They came up Larkin, turn west onto Geary, then south on Van Ness. I’m assuming there was some sort of rally at City Hall, but <shrug>
