Sanders's Supporters Brownshirts Stop Trump Rally in Chicago

That would be smart politics for an ordinary politician. But Drumpf is a strongman leader and he has to show that his movement is tough.

Besides, even if he doesn’t suggest it, you don’t think anyone will be able to get that idea on their own? His brownshirts will have payback on their minds now.

Wow, the power of a funny-looking socialist Jew! (How did he ever find Professor Irwin Corey’s hairdresser?) Thousands of videos of Sander’s Beigeshirts totally running amok with blood crazed mayhem, and nobody got any pictures! Or were they all suppressed by the awesome of an FLSJ?

No, it must have been Obama! He’s the only one with that kind of power. And why? Why does he fear Trump so much? Get real! He’s a half-black Muslim monster, he will be lucky if he’s only deported back to Kenya when his sentence is up!

 This is sickening. Protesters can demonstrate all they want outside the venue. But its unacceptable to bring it inside to deliberately interfere with a political rally.

Some POS just tried rushing the stage to get at Trump.

The place to stop Trump is at the voting booth. Don’t like him? Vote against him.

Time to increase police presence and put an end to demonstrators inside political rallies. We can’t allow organized thugs to wreck our political process. Trump is a vetted candidate and has every right to campaign without interference from people who object to his views.

Hitlery?

just kidding…

This isn’t about any links you provided earlier (which so far as I could tell, was in one post on the first page); this is about post #106 where you stated (my understanding) you had additional evidence of widespread anti-Trump violence.

Crappy phone-camera video that does indeed appear to show an ambulance being blocked by a bunch of unidentified people, with a phalanx of cops more or less immediately clearing the way.

This one appears to show a clip of a single injured Chicago PD officer (shown on MSNBC last night) and a single scuffle on the arena floor (also MSNBC footage), totaling about 30 seconds of video. Just about the entire rest of the clip shows protesters and Trump supporters chanting or waving signs and flags.

You can accept what I have to say or not as you prefer, but this evidence honestly looks…weak to me, and I really don’t think it’s simply because I might happen to differ politically from Mr. Trump’s supporters.

The value, if any, of last night’s hoop-de-do is that at least there has been relatively little physical injury on either side, and I fervently hope that both sides treat this as an urgent wake up call that things could get a lot more serious real quick. That’s all I’ve got to say on this topic; I’ll leave any remaining argy-bargy to the rest of y’all.

There are all kinds of pictures. You need to pay attention at least a little bit if you wish to make valuable contributions.

Equating BLM with the klan doesn’t really boost your credibility.

Thank you for your advice, rest assured it will receive the attention it deserves.

None of those people appear to be engaged in the “mass violence” that the “Bernshirts” were supposedly conducting.

They must have been invisible. And incorporeal.

Because it didn’t happen.

And yet, this “large-scale mob violence” resulted in a total of five minor injuries and one arrest.

And yet, you’ve got no pictures of it.

There are valid reasons to disagree with BLM. “They’re a violent mob of arsonists who’s main tactics are to disrupt activities and speech that they disagree with” is not one, because it’s factually untrue on every single level.

Then I guess we’d better arrest Trump and his followers.

I would have liked to see Drumpf get arrested for urging the crowd to rough up that one guy and promising to pay the legal bills. That has to be a crime. But otherwise, I’m not seeing how Drumpf or his followers are (yet) guilty of the same kind of disruption.

(post shortened)

The thread is about protesters denying candidates the right to speak to their supporters.

The Only Black Lives Matter group rejected Bernie’s right to speak at a several Bernie rallies when they shouted him down and drove him from the stage. Thousands of Bernie supporters had taken the time to come to these rallies and hear Bernie speak. None of the Bernie supports waited hours to hear OBLM shouting.

*Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders left a campaign event in Seattle without giving his speech Saturday after “black lives matter” activists took over the podium.

It is the second time in a month that activists protesting racial inequality have interrupted an event featuring the progressive candidate. On July 18, “black lives matter” demonstrators entered a Netroots Nation forum featuring Sanders and Martin O’Malley in Phoenix and began chanting slogans.*

We live in interesting times.

A point I’m still a mite fuzzy about: when did the trajectory of the shit intercept the locus of the fan? Was it* after* Il Douche announced the “postponement” of the rally? Or before?

(I can relate, one time, there was this big ugly guy, gonna kick my ass, so I demonstrated my deadly track and field skills, specifically, the 500M dash…)

Which is beyond their power to do. “Protestors” didn’t deny Trump anything last night. Trump ran away because his ego is incapable of dealing with the possibility that he isn’t loved by everyone.

I’m not aware of the existence of any such group. Perhaps in whatever mirror universe you are posting from such an organization exists, but here on Earth-Prime we know not of such things.

BLM is in no way comparable to the KKK or Duke.

No need to insult your intelligence or mine. Im guessing that unless Trump has suddenly garnered people of colour as supporters these peeople are indeed radical leftist demonstrators. Thats two sentences I really needn’t have typed to have stated the obvious.

Good point. Since BLM’s inception, it has been responsible for about a hundred times more violence than the Klan.

Well, there apparently was some chanting and sign-waving going on before the announcement. According to what I saw on TV, a spokesperson for Trump came to the podium and announced the postponement, protesters in the audience began chanting something along the lines that they had “stopped Trump” and scuffles began breaking out on the arena floor over the next ten-fifteen minutes, as the bulk of the crowd headed for the exits. Some private security was present when this began, but there wasn’t much evidence of police presence within the arena until about 15 minutes in.

Donald Trump has a great relationship with the blacks. He said so himself, therefore it must be true, because Donald Trump is very honest.

The best thing you can do to neutralize Trump is to simply let everyone hear his message. He has a few supporters - a third of the Republican primary voters, who themselves are more vile than the average person - and just about everyone else views him unfavorably.

The absolute best thing to do is to stand aside, let him rant against non-existent boogeymen, see how vile and violent his supporters get at rallies, and completely discredit himself.

Protesting him is the dumbest thing we can do. No one is informed by the fact that there are people who strongly object to him - no shit, that much is obvious from who he is. What it does is make it sound like the “they’re trying to silence me! I must have a dangerous message!” bullshit is true, and makes that boogeyman he’s railing against sound more real. It makes him look like the victim and note the inciter.

Or, think about this: Trump wants this, right? Trump loved what happened last night. It’s not exactly an advanced strategy to realize that doing exactly what your opponent wants you to do is a bad idea.
