My city isn’t even listed, when I ran my zip code it only showed that “Cast Away” was playing in my area… I think I’m going to go tip some cows.

since I’ve spent far to much effing time jobless over the last couple years, I’ve got a pretty consistant schedule for the weekdays:
11AM-1PM wake up (unless some a-hole calls to damn early in the day)
1-2 do the job board thing
2-2:01 play voicemail tag with recruiters
2:01-3 wait patiently for recruiters to ignore me
around 3 decide that I stink enough for a shower
around 4 realize i’m starting to get hungry (remember your appetite when you were in HS? I still haven’t gotten rid of it)
play vid games, surf, general inet stuff until the Devils game (or other NHL games) comes on.
watch game and get loaded until about 10:30
10:30 till dawn watch some bad movies on TV, surf some more.
Wow, I take a little nap and look what I miss. Ok, I’ve put out a few emails, and I’ve collected a few phone numbers to fall back on if we don’t get things set tonight.
Here’s what I propose: Demo’s plan. All meet at 11:00am at Boudin Bakery (I even know right where that is). All in favor?

I’m so far driven with that 'tude that I took a short term gig (over by the end of the month) that involves me doing nothing but sitting on my ass for 12 hours at a clip twwice a week. pay is alright (ballpark with what i’ve been making) but it has absolutly no responsibilities other than showing up on time and staying awake in case the phone rings.
oh and it looks like I was a little early with my stress-relief week-end. I flew out to SF to visit family 3 weeks ago other wise I woulda been out there with you guys tomorrow.

Seriously, we’ll be there most likely. I think I may have caught scratchie’s nasty cold cuz I’m all sneezy and coughing and stuff, but it could just be withdrawals because I’ve decided to quit smoking cold turkey… let’s keep our fingers crossed that it’s not a cold.

hell it’s easy. Just get off at any BART station. Embarcadero would be best. Catch the F line to Fishermans warf. It’s the trolly car on the rails. 1$. No problem.

Well, I am not unemployed, but I have tomorrow off anyway. For once having my days off in the middle of the week has come in handy! So I am coming, too, having bummed a ride off Demo and Psy, who are very gracious people.
Well, looks like i’m coming. Riding up with Sue, who has room and was kind enough to let me go with her. Never been to Alcatraz which is why i’m taking this opportunity to go.
