Demo and psycat, better known as Santa Rosa’s royal family, are having a BBQ on Saturday August 10th. Everyone is invited. Come on by and have a great time.
Hmm. When I say “Everyone” what I mean is “Everyone who isn’t a loser or a crazy person.” A good test to figure out whether or not you should come to this bbq is to ask yourself.

Is the BBQ a funfilled yearly tradition?
Good question. Yes it is! This is the third year it will be held. Previous BBQs were remarked for having- “SO much Fun my pants no longer feel like pants. They feel like FUNPANTS!”

Snooooopy - I don’t think there is going to be a Friday night party this time. The kids are going to be there, and most of the cool people (me) won’t be getting there until later. So, this time it’s a Saturday party.
Ruffian - Weddings happen every Friday and Saturday of the year. (And sometimes even other days of the week!) The DemoBBQ only happens once a year. SO. You really don’t have much of a choice in the matter.

I know no one beleives me when I say this anymore, but hopefully I can make the next one. I’d try to switch out of work but the mgr. is on vacation and left me in charge (the poor bastard).
I would love to attend this BBQ, but I would need a ride. I am in El Cerrito, which is next to Berkeley. I could also take BART to any location where I would be more easily retrieved for anyone kind enough to give me a ride to Santa Rosa and back. My mobility is limited by a recent injury, however, so I am unable to walk very far or very fast.

Gah, I was actually planning to come to this (and give White Lightning a ride) but my allergies were acting up this morning so I took an antihistamine and the next thing I knew I’d fallen asleep on the couch and it was 3:30 in the afternoon! Cripes – well, at least I got the laundry done today.
