She’s a tool and doesn’t mind being a tool because she supports the administration’s overall goals even if it means being made a fool and lying through her teeth on a daily basis. She doesn’t mind saying nonsense bullshit if it means that her team wins. I’m sure she has some post-administration job goals in mind, etc but basically it’s just party before country… or common sense.
Maybe, but she’s old enough to be accountable for herself. She’s in it now because she’s in it voluntarily, not because of some childhood brainwashing. This is the sort of person she is.
I think zoid nailed it. She’s going to run for congress, and I think she’s going to win. Keep in mind that a whole bunch of people believe every speck of nonsense that comes out of her mouth. Also remember that the ability to relentlessly stick to talking points, no matter how ridiculous, is a vital asset for a politician.

You must not have been listening. She was allover the news as a young girl. Nothing real memorable, but anytime you saw her Mom she was the little chubby girl by her side. In fact the whole family was chubby. Looks aside, she is a bold faced liar and it’s hard to get a job if your previous employment is based on lying.
I can’t reconcile the idea of somebody being both intelligent and admiring Donald Trump.
There are intelligent conservatives. But they saw the damage that a Trump presidency would do to conservatism and decided to take a knee in 2016. They knew that four years of Hillary Clinton as President would be better both for America and the Republican Party than four years of Donald Trump as President.
To the contrary, there are plenty of ‘Lying For The Lord’ organizations that would be happy to have her on their (radio) shows. If Bill O’Reilly can continue to exaggerate and obfuscate for years and years, making millions in the process, Shuckabee can parlay her top shelf lies into a well-paid career. And in the twilight of her years, she’ll (ghost)write a memoir to rival OJ’s and the cash will keep rolling in.
I thought her dog-killing brother was the worst spawn of Muckabee, but she’s surpassed him and then some.

I think she has one of the most difficult jobs in the world. She has to face the press all the time and 'splain something crazy her dunderhead boss did the day, or hour, prior, all the while putting on a serious and professional face. Meanwhile, the boss is busy making a mess of something else, or yanking the rug out by contradicting her (and himself). I am not saying I agree at all with what comes out of her mouth, but it must keep her on her toes knowing the boss most definitely does not have her back. If she can survive this assignment, she will be fine.
Financially she’s safe as houses. He barren fucking soul on the other hand would make the Bonneville salt flats look like a tropical paradise.
That is not an echo chamber effect. We all know there are otherwise seemingly intelligent people who like Trump and a cherry-picked basket from his agenda. Many of us know some such people personally. We just can’t help believe that they are faking it for some underlying agenda, however implausible that is. Trumpism is just so incredibly stupid, and Trump’s execution of it, inconcievable as it is, even stupider.
I don’t believe it’s possible she’s unaware of the fact she’s lying through her teeth and Trump is lying through his teeth, constantly. The idea that she believes anything that he says, pro-american or otherwise, flies in the face of reason; she knows he’s a chronic liar.
When you have 62,984,828 people in a category (in this case, Trump voters,) it’s all but math/probability guaranteed that some of them are intelligent.
Add to that about 10-20 million people who like Trump but didn’t show up to vote at the polls.
