Sarah Sanders leaving WH at end of the month.

She did a much better job than Sean Spicer. Trying to make sense of Trump’s conflicting statements is an impossible job for any press secretary. Sarah will he missed.

I hope we don’t return to the complete chaos before Sarah took the job.

She will not be missed.

ETA: For Christ’s sake, she told the Mueller investigators that she lied about stuff in order to back up her boss. That’s the textbook definition of having no integrity.

How could anyone tell the difference?

Mad respect to her and Spicer. They’ve had the toughest job any White House spokesman/woman has ever had.

Once you throw away your integrity and learn to lie without giving a flying fuck about the damage you are causing, the job isn’t that hard.

Her lies will just have to be spoken on Faux news, which would be my prediction of where she ends up. I mean, she could just go away, too. That would be OK.

Yes, I’m sure we’ll find millions of heartbroken viewers around the world fighting back tears and struggling to find something, anything to fill the Sarah-Sanders-shaped void in their lives.

It was a hard job and also a vital one. Somebody has to explain the Adminstration’s policies as clearly as possible.

We find it exasperating listening to sound bites of Trump. Imagine that it’s your job to go into the Oval office everyday and try to get a coherent statement from him for the WH briefing.

Stories have leaked that Trump is verbally abusive to all his staff. I can’t imagine serving 18 months as press secretary.

Nobody put a gun to her head-she lied, accused and slandered of her own free will, and then sucked it up every time the Prez made her look like an idiot. Any other previous press secretary would have the integrity to say no.

When did she ever do that? Her go-to line was “The President has been very clear about (whatever)”.

How many WH briefings did she even hold? None in the last few months at least.

No one made her stay there and take it.

I don’t think that was ever the goal.

Are you writing for the Onion now?

She didn’t, Spicer didn’t.

Didn’t matter if it was coherent, she lied about it. Good Christian woman there.

Eh. She’s probably used to Daddy Huckabee.

I wonder how they have arranged to shut her up-Pardon, threats or both?

You do remember Spicer? The guy that literally hid behind a bush to avoid the press?

Sarah made her share of mistakes. There’s not much anyone can do when their boss undermines them every single day.

Her successor could be a lot worse. I hope not. Especially with relations with Iran heating up. We need a competent WH Press Secretary.

I’m trying to imagine a definition of “competent” that would be willing to be Trump’s mouthpiece.

Every definition I can think of has the letters “rru” added and a few others missing.

Sarah Sanders did nothing but lie every day. It’s remarkable that this equals competency in your mind. The only value she provides is making Trump not look like a complete imbecile. No doubt Team Trump finds this quite worthwhile, but it’s a disservice to everyone else who really needs to see what he really is.

I hope they replace her with Scaramucci.

How could they be worse? The few times she held a press conference, she lied her way through them, refused to answer questions, and did nothing but muddy the waters. Worse? Don’t make me laugh!

Bring back the Mooch! If he isn’t available, maybe Bill Hader could fill in.
