Sarah Huckabee Sanders

Look at the women on Fox. I don’t think she is blonde or leggy enough.

A good conservative Christian woman should not be involved in politics in the first place.

Or lying, either. But that just boils down to how seriously any particular alleged Christian values the 10 commandments.

I don’t see it. If you want to throw large numbers around, there are 326,000,000 Americans. That means 163,000,000 Americans are below average intelligence.

And there’s no reason to assume everyone who voted for Trump or supported him becoming President did so because they admire him. Some of them were probably figuring that Trump would be easy to manipulate and they could advance their own agendas better if he was President. Some people probably saw ways that they would benefit from America having an incompetent President. Some people probably thought it was worth it to have Trump become President because of the damage he would do to the reputation of the Republican Party. Some people probably thought that an incompetent conservative like Trump was better than a competent conservative like Cruz.

But the people who actually admire Trump and think he’s a good President? No, I do not see those people as intelligent.

And some people never thought he had a chance of winning and perhaps just wanted to voice some dissent. (Oops.)

You’re seeing the situation one way OP, but if you look at conservatives and Trump supporters, they see the situation quite differently. She is wildly popular among Trump supporters. I would go as far as to say that there is a high probability that she will be the first female president of the United States. If not President, I think it is highly likely she will be the first female to win the Republican primary for President. I’ve said it in another, thread; I’m saying it here, maybe I’ll say it again somewhere else so when it happens I can say “look I said this would happen” and then I can feel all smug and superior.

Widely popular? That surprises me. But I’m clearly in a bubble. I would have guessed she has more of a chance of being put against a wall and shot then elected President. I need to get out more

A substantial number of people in Mensa are vocal supporters of Trump.

Within any category of 62 million Americans, there will be lawyers, doctors, PhDs, engineers, mathematicians, Ivy-Leaguers and the like.

Cool! Like who?

That’s nice. I would ask for a cite, but I don’t really give a shit if it’s true or not.

No, I included them in the not-intelligent group.

No. Not really.

Plenty of correlational evidence exists. Trump won the income brackets of 50k to 200k by a decent margin. He won with college educated white males. He lost among those with graduate degrees, but still got 37% of that vote - which is a sizable minority. He actually did better with college educated black male voters than those without a college degree. This is all from Pew.

I will ask for a damn cite.

Sure, why not? Anyone can get in Mensa. You just need to take a test that was written by Mensa.

They charge people forty dollars to take the test. If you pass the test, you’re offered an opportunity to become a member and pay Mensa seventy-nine dollars a year. How rigorous do you think that test is?

Mensa is an organization for people who want to brag about how smart they are. That doesn’t mean it’s an organization for people who are actually any smarter than average.

Really? Any category?

Sixty-seven percent of adult Americans don’t have a college degree. That’s 174,000,000 Americans - more than twice the size category you asked for. How many of these people - who I will remind you don’t have a college degree - do you estimate are lawyers, doctors, PhDs, engineers, mathematicians, or Ivy-Leaguers?

How about the 74,000,000 Americans who are under 18? How many of them do you think are lawyers, doctors, PhDs, engineers, mathematicians, or Ivy-Leaguers?

Wunderbar!
But who from Mensa does **Velocity **know voted for Trump?

Or maybe it’s fake news.

Trump Losing College-Educated Whites? He Never Won Them in the First Place

Ok, what evidence do you have regarding the voting habits of those in Mensa? Or, more to the point, what evidence do you have regarding IQ and voting? if you have no specific evidence regarding IQ and voting why would you have such certainty about how high IQ people voted in light of the circumstantial evidence presented?

I have been in Mensa long enough to see the never-ending political arguments and there is considerable support for Trump.

$38 last time I checked, but no, not anyone can get in. The process involves two tests and they are both quite tough in their own way.

At any rate, we are leaving the topic of this thread. But there is a considerable difference between right and wrong and smart and dumb. I think you and others hold the view that because you consider Trump to be wrong, that Trump supporters must be dumb.
