Sarah K. Palin, Will You Please Go Now?

“Granpa? What’s a “phone booth”?”

You know, this crap only works half the time online, and never in real life. It’s the equivalent of saying, “If y’all will just stop putting obstacles in the path of the runaway steamroller, it’ll stop on it’s own.”

And their validation proves that I am right; they hate Obama more than I hate Palin and in fact voted the McCAin/Palin ticket. And would again, if the opportunity arises. And, they actively hope and pray that Obama fails and to hell with the results to the country if they can see that he does fail. Of course, after eight years of GW Bush, an attitude of ‘to hell with the country’ doesn’t surprise me.

I don’t know what you mean by Apollonian and Dionysian. I’m not an educated person, as I’m sure you know.

So what you are saying is that their validation as a result of your disrespect validates you? The problem isn’t Bush, Palin, or Obama, the problem is that people are validated by earning the disrespect of others.

Intellect(Apollo) Passion(Dyonysus) and no I don’t really know what your level of education is.

I was trying to make a joke regarding my education—the intent was to point out that surely an educated/sophisticated person would be a republican and not an aging ex-hippie.

As to the first part of your reply, Palin and others of her ilk have completely won my disrespect. For whatever that is worth.

You know, I’ve actually enjoyed some of your posts and I think you are basically a decent human being. But we are not going to agree regarding Palin, so let’s just let it go. I’ll stop if you will.

Let go of what? I don’t particularly like Palin either. I just pointed out that half of her attention comes from Liberals who hate her. That’s part of the reason she’s so successful, all the free airtime her detractors give her.

There’s no such thing as bad publicity.

Sarah, please stay. We love how you scare the living shit out of the libs. It’s so much fun to watch them run in circles, pull their hair and howl like broke-dick dogs over you.

What a load of crap. Would you like a list of campaigns that used bad publicity to destroy the opposition? I’ll bet not one of them said, “They may be ripping us apart with their multi-media attacks, but there’s no such thing as bad publicity, right. Yay for us!”

Let go of the bickering is what I meant. I’m gonna stop even if you don’t.

Bad for an electoral campaign sure. Bad for selling books, not at all.

So you accept the fact that she quit as governor only because she thought she could make more money peddling ghostwritten books?

Isn’t that obvious? Though I think the fame is probably more important than the money.

Because it’s too much to ask that the G.O.P. nominate/have as spokesman someone competent and qualified? Perhaps you should quote the Hon. Roman Hruska?:

Sarah is very scary. She scares the living shit out of me. Please, please, don’t nominate her for 2012. I’m begging you, please don’t nominate her.

Why? Then Obama would win re-election for sure.

Palin/Bachmann 2012.

You know, considering that the stick only has two ends, it’s amazing how consistently you get the wrong end of it. I consider myself a liberal and Sarah Palin does not particularly scare me. Indeed, as I said in an earlier post, I hope she does run for Pres. in '12, I really do.

ETA: or, what E_P said, if you prefer.

:p:p:p No, Clothahump, if she had a chance of ever getting elected POTUS, then she would scare liberals. As it is, she’s their dream Pub nominee for 2012. Ralph Nader will be POTUS before Sarah Palin is POTUS.

Hahahahahahaha … liberals like me LOVE Sarah Palin. If she gets the Republican nomination in 2012 I’ll be over the moon with glee. Please, more Sarah!

Run, Sarah, run! And wear some of those tight running shorts while you’re at it.

. . . I’d go with Sarah Palin . . . but I’d be thinking of Tina Fey!
