Andrew Sullivan is nice enough to point out something very funny form the Gateway Pundit, trying to defend Sarah Palin by attacking someone who was mean to her.
The background, a video shows Sarah Plain approaching a protester and when Palin asks the protester what she does she says she is a teacher, to which Palin visibly rolls her eyes. OK whatever.
Next comes the defense:

Love it. The Palin fans are a whole new level of crazy. Example? Why, sure.
So, my friend and I drunkenly decided months ago that my dog is a staunch Conservative, Young Earth Creationist, Palin fan. We even made “her” a Twitter, where “she” posted things like: “Obama already put a microchip in me guys!!! This is the end of times!!! Read Revelation!!!” and all kinds of shit fan girling Sarah Palin, her good ideas, etc. Before long, random Republicans (Tea Partiers that were posting some scary shit on their pages) started following her and even some guy running for Congress in Colorado (that one made me laugh pretty hard). Then, one day, some Pubbie that was following the dog’s Twitter outted it as “an undercover Moonbat!!! Extreme Moonbat warning!!!” Because, ya know, it wasn’t clear the page was a joke-- oh wait, the about me said “Christian, Patriot, Dog” and there was even a Tweet explaining it was satire from me.
But no, this conservative and her friends then TWEETED GLENN BECK AND SARAH PALIN, telling them an undercover democrat was gasp following them! Of course, bc those two had been tagged in a post, my page was instantly flooded with shit from craaaaaaaaaaazy Republicans. In about 15 mins, there were about 500 notifications in my email— mostly death threats and the like. Mind you, nothing awful had ever been said, the Tweets I gave examples of are exactly how they all were.
Then, the Twitter is dead. Deleted by Twitter for being spam. :dubious: I’m guessing all those TeePers went and reported the page and Twitter took it down. So, I start looking at what people were saying about the page- and these people are 1: making death threats still 2: threatening to sue me for defamation of character 
3: Plotting on how to get MY (ie: not the dog’s) Twitter deleted, too.
What. The. Fuck.
So, yeah, I have no trouble believing they also went batty on a fucking teacher for stating she’s a teacher- they fucking went psycho on a dog.
It’s also a counting fail!
What the hell was up with the two guys repeatedly trying to block the camera? She’s in public voluntarily engaging in a conversation with a detractor with a camera visibly taping! Do you think she doesn’t know what she’s doing and is certain to embarass herself somehow? Sheesh, why not just grab her by the arm and gently lead her away like a child?
When they deny freedom of speech to a dog, they’ve gone too far!
