Since the Elections thread on this was closed, and I probably couldn’t have said this in there anyway: fuck you, you self-righteous, moralizing, right-wing harpy. McGinniss has exposed you for what you are: a lying, grasping hypocrite.
Now, I would normally agree with Skald’s comment in that thread about not using this information like the right used Clinton’s peccadilloes against him. Your sex life is your own business. But Clinton wasn’t the self-proclaimed bastion of morality that Palin is, and she deserves every bit of what’s coming to her. No wonder she’s been trying to haul in as much cash as possible over the past few years and has been so coy about running for office. Once McGinniss got on her trail, it was only a matter of time before this all came to light. Fuck you, bitch.
Bwuh? I came in here expecting to see conservative boobies. Not only are there no boobies here, it turns out we’ve lost a board fixture. That’s too bad.
Anonymous sources —> the very questionable Joe McGinnis —> someone leaking the book —> the very questionable The National Enquirer —> You taking it as absolute truth because you already despise the woman and don’t care to question the veracity of such outlandish claims.
THIS THREAD IS NOW 100% ABOUT ME! MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEME! I’M RIGHT BECAUSE I CAN’T EVER POSSIBLY BE WRONG, AND I WILL ARGUE WITH YOU UNTIL THE FUCKING APOCALYPSE ABOUT IT, EVEN THOUGH IT’S A MINOR POINT, TANGENT TO WHAT THE THREAD IS REALLY ABOUT. I WILL ATTACH MYSELF TO THIS POINT AS IF IT WERE A PORK CHOP AND I WERE THE METAPHORICAL DOBERMAN, AND MAKE ALL FURTHER DISCUSSION OF THE BROADER ISSUE AND ITS SUBTLETIES COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE.
To flesh that out (sorry) a bit further, Palin has trumpeted her religious beliefs, repeatedly pointed to events in her life as being part of “God’s plan” and had this to say in sneering at the “lame stream media” for supposedly viewing religious people as alien beings:
“What is threatening about the Ten Commandments, a moral code that Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, the religions that account for 97% of all Americans believers, recognizes as the basis for living a good life?”
from “America By Heart” by Sarah Palin, 2010, p. 215
I don’t know if McGinniss’ revelations are true. but if they are, Palin will deserve the label of “hypocrite”.
Bricker, this is an even bigger loser for you than attempting to deny the hypocrisy of William Bennett, who preached to us about Virtue before it was revealed that he’d lost a ton of money gambling. Hopefully you won’t go parsing off the deep end in this instance as well.
