Sassy Girl from AT&T commercials is Milana Vayntrub

She’s done several AT&T commercials. Lily is a spunky character that guides the clueless customers into the best phone plan.

The Chive has photos of Milana Vayntrub out of character.

Christopher Walken played the guy on SNL who wanted more cowbell.

Fun fact: he’s the same guy who made the “ass watch” monologue in that Quentin Tarantino movie. I forget the name of it.

And, what was her phone number again?

What would you say her bra size is?

Interesting* trivia: She was the answer to a pub trivia question tonight.
*Well, interesting to me… And we got it right.

She was one of the characters in If Google Was a Guy (Part 2).

Why am I supposed to care?

I’m not trying to be snarky, I’m just not seeing what makes her a stand out from any other commercial regular.

Is there something I’m missing?

I’m curious about the etymology of her surname. Why “Vayntrub” instead of the more usual “Weintraub”?

The latter is too jewish.

She was born in Uzebekistan. That could have something to do with it.

Her charcter has a quirky, hip attitude in several of the commercials. It’s a bit sexy without intending to be.

Much like Flo in the early Progressive commercials, The actor just stands out even in a drab uniform. The writing and acting makes these characters appealing.

Makes sense - modern Russian Jewish immigrants often transcribe their names to Latin letters differently than the clerks at Ellis Island 100-odd years ago.

She is very cute in the Mind Reading one.

Not to be a jerk, but this isn’t exactly new news.

Someone told me her name quite some time ago on these very boards.

Not that it is important but I find her very average looking and the commercials meh.

Women in TV commercials are hot. If I weren’t married, I would totally send tweets to a bunch of them telling them how much I like them and asking for a date.

My wife hasn’t been in any commercials. Oh well. :frowning:

Has **aceplace **answered this yet? Come on buddy, stop holding back on us here!

I have no idea. I’m admiring her big eyes and winsome smile. Seriously, her eyes are her best feature.

Were they asking about the actress’s name, or her name as the AT&T character? I knew the latter, because it’s Lily on her name tag. We paused the DVR on the commercial so the three-year old granddaughter, who is also named Lily, could read her name on TV.
