TV ad crush smackdown: Flo vs. Jan vs. Lily

The cute, perky spokeswomen now currently on TV.

Flo (Progressive Insurance). Got a head start on the others, but is she still the leader?

Jan (Toyota). A challenge to the long-time champ?

Lily. The newest contender.

What say you?

Lily is very cute, but Jan really pushes my buttons.

I prefer Flo but it isn’t based on appearance alone.

I like the red headed Wendy’s spokesperson they have now.

Flo does nothing for me. Looks or personality.

The other two seem fine, but honestly, they don’t really hit my radar.

Whoever the redhead is in the Wendy’s commercials. She is smokin’ hot!

You guys are crazy.

Exactly what I was going to say. Jan is a distant second. Lily wasn’t even on my radar.

I think that’s the real Wendy. I believe this is the other spokesperson mentioned above, and I agree…

The others are fine lookin’ women but the thing about Flo is not her being fine. Flo is a memorable character, almost comic bookish, unreal enough that she stands out. The others are generic pretty spokewomen but having just clicked the links I still could not particularly recall the faces and likely still would not be able to pick out who was who from list of pretty spokeswomen pictures. Flo? The unrealness of her makes it so I can picture her right away, the overdone make-up, the white uniform, the hyper-perkiness … bing, right there.

Flo for recognition.
lily for sweet attitude and stuffing in you pocket & taking home.

There are several redheads around that get my blood up but I know the temperament of red heads so I’ll pass.

Thank to the fine folks at WITHAG:

“Flo” is Stephanie Courtney
“Jan” is Laurel Coppock
“Lily” is Milana Vayntrub
“Wendy” is Morgan Smith Goodwin

Mayhem.

Coward.

I just can’t get past that “clown lipstick” Flo wears. Good god, it’s hideous!

Lily had me from the moment she whispered, “There is no catch”.

Moving this to Cafe Society.

Stephanie Courtney guest-starred as the mother of a patient-of-the-week on House. Once you strip off Flo’s clown lipstick and over-caffeinated perkiness, she’s actually a pretty good actress who can make you forget she sells insurance to fund her lipstick addiction. Or something, since I haven’t seen her in anything else.

She was in an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, where Ray is trying to sell cookies on the sidewalk and her son pesters her into buying a box. She’s pretty much unrecognizable without the clown makeup.

Definitely Flo, because she might appear next to you at any moment - maybe even in your bed at night!
