Remember those gloves that they found two miles away from the scene? DNA testing has revealed that they match a guy who works at a restaurant across the street and have nothing to do with the kidnapping.
Unless he’s a restaurant worker and also the kidnapper…
Given the door camera video of the kidnapper, it might well be the restaurant worker is a very different shape or gender or color.
Or has an alibi. Obviously it isn’t them or there’d be an arrest. The whole glove thing was worth a try but was fucking stupid from the start. Why would the kidnapper throw gloves out the window two miles away.
It has been a month. How long do you expect before this gets back burnered by everyone involved outside of the immediate family, with the expectation that it will simply be unexplained until/unless something unexpectedly turns up?

It sounds like the FBI doesn’t have any further information about the suspect beyond height, weight, general ethnic background appearance and backpack brand name. I really expect too much of them in compiling a suitable profile.
