Well, it had to happen.
Like a lot of other folks, the rising tide of Duties and Responsibilities has soaked even more of my ever-dwindling supply of free time, to the point where I’m getting only five hours of sleep at night. Coupled with the SDMB’s recurring lag, I’m going to have to drop out of the board and try to reclaim an extra two or three hours from my daily routine.
Since quitting cold turkey isn’t easy, I might drop in from time to time and lurk in the background. Sure, I could just post less frequently, but it’s too easy to just pop in for “just a minute” and have it snowball into another half-day session; so I’m going to ask the board moderators to deactivate my account and remove the temptation.
It’s been real, and it’s been fun, and it’s even been real fun on more than one occassion. Hugs to all the fun folks and kiss-offs to all the dim dinks out there. You know who you are – and if you’re not sure, flip a coin.
