But, he is the best husband in the world and I’m lucky every single day to be his wife.
There are many people that make this place great, and I always wince at the idea of posting to a thread like this because I can’t name them all and do each justice.
But there are some standouts, past and present:
My brethern at the Bar and occasional SDSAB writing partner GFactor - I can only aspire to his researchy goodness. pravnik, Billdo, Jodi, and DSYoungEsq - many conversations over the years that have been illuminating.
Colibri, Qadgop, and Stranger on a Train and the SDSAB crew in general also, who add value to GQ constantly and correctly!
Left Hand of Dorkness, although almost always off base politically :), is a great listener and superb debater, and I credit him with several shifts of my own perspective.
Sampiro, for his amazing ability to turn a phrase and tell a Southern tale. And for (grudgingly ) accepting me as a straight man that knows his musical theatre cold. And Annie-Xmas, for keeping musical theatre discussion here informed and complete.

Absolutely. If or when I ever make it down your way, we definitely need to have a 'fest or hang out one on one. I think we’d get along fabulously and I’d love to have a tour guide of South Florida. I’m fascinated by it.

I want to say that the dopers I met here in Michigan with cactus waltz were terrific. I distinctly remember them as people, but I would probably mess up their screen names if I were try to remember them. But I think they know who they are, and that they are responsible for my spending $15 to post here as soon as I got home. I hope to see you guys/gals again soon!
