Scanning for Security Purposes?

I dunno if it was on my side, or on the SD’s side… I was just having trouble getting pages to load (it would just end up refreshing the current screen instead of going to the next link) when I noticed that the title bar said “Please be patient” and my Google toolbar was blocking pop ups. I enabled pop ups for the board and tried again, and I got a pop up saying that it was scanning the request for security purposes, with a clock counting time elapsed.

Is this from the SD side? It’s the only site I’ve had this issue.

I don’t know what you’ve got there, but I don’t think it’s on the SD side, since it’s not affecting me. I’d run the usual Adaware, Spybot, etc. You might have picked up some nasty along the way at some point.

I dunno what that was, but it’s not us.

The ad on the front page is administered through Double Click, but they don’t do stuff like that, they just put a cookie on your computer and show you the ad.
