Scavenger Hunt: Pet Tattoos

• • • I was talkin’ to the guys at work last night, and , well, it’s difficult to explain, but anyway, now I am looking for photos on the net of pets with ORNAMENTAL tattoos. NOT ID numbers.

Don’t go and do it just for my benefit!

• We figure that there’s enough drugged and drunken wannabe-tattoo-artist slobs out there that at least one of them got bombed and did a tat on somebody’s pet. Maybe their own, maybe someone elses, I don’t care: I just wanna see it. It has to have happened, and I figure if it ain’t on the net, it ain’t anywhere. My searches find lots of places for ID numbers, but nothing more. - Help! - MC

MC, perchance did you ask this question on another board last June? I searched and found this posted inquiry:

Reading a Fountains of Wayne interview today threw me on a tangent.
Keeping in mind that pet owners having their animals tattooed for identification purposes isn’t uncommon anymore, I was wondering if any tattoo enthusiast’s have gone so far as to get their pets tattoos of say, either their owners faces on them, or like a fire hydrant or something. Granted on most animals, this wouldn’t work (sheepdog owners may sleep easy), but maybe like a Chinese Hairless, or on the dog’s stomach? 10 bonus points to anyone who can verify such a story.
On a completely related side note, I’d like it known that my personal life careening out of control is mainly responsible for the lack of quality control on such pointless
BBS posts such as this, and are rather blatant cries for help if you think about it.

Admittedly the poster had another screen name, but the simularities were striking. Unfortunately, he never received an answer (as you may already know).
