I once lost my glasses, found them, put them on, and continued searching. My thought was “Now I can see to find them.” It took me a couple of minutes to figure it out.
Look for the “Best by” date. You may have enough for the next 14 colonoscopies.
I agree that the prep is the worst, the colonoscopy itself is fine even without sedation.
That sucks, but the Uber rule makes sense. You’ll have been under general anesthesia, and you may not be capable of making good choices, especially with a stranger. What Uber or Lyft needs is some sort of certification. “This person has been certified safe to take you home from the hospital.”
The taxi-company I drive for has a certification, without which I would not be allowed to drive unaccompanied children or patients. Will the hospital have some solution, perhaps a local taxi. It won’t be first time they have that problem.
