Duke of Rat, you seem to see my arguments as something far different from my own. My take on these laws is that the gov. passed laws registering certain people as belonging to a certain class. Japanese citizens) They then took those people, and looked them up, as well as people who were not of that class. (the american citizen relatives of the people.)
Sure, so they didn’t look at forms to see if the wives, husbands and children of these groups were on the list, but they didn’t need to. They could simply look at their faces. I still contend that the registration of lead this way before, and will lead this way again.

Looks I lost the agreement. After all, Bricker asked for claificcation in a recent GD thread. I could have waited for someone else to post the information he asked for. Instead, I egotitically decided that I was the best on to answer, and I put the anwer in this very thread. Nevermind the fact that it was almost a CS question, I nanswerd it, rather then ignoring it.
But, did I really break down first? I don’t know. John Mace, may I please have a ruling on Shodan’s posts here and here. Both were posted yesterday, both seem to me to be leading questions, and both seem to contain summaries of what he believes the case to be.

Do you ever read a goddamned thing? The Japanese Americans sent to camps in WWII never registered for ANYTHING! The President issued an order giving the military (among others) power to just round them up. They didn’t have any Smith Act list of Japanese Americans since the Smith Act dealt ONLY with foriegn nationals (aliens) NOT US citizens!
Basically wrong for reasons pointed out above.
Or just get the FBI to round them up. Where do you get this stuff from?
