No, I got confused. I thought it was songs we wished Scott was singing.

Howsabout you ask me what the meaning was, Sparky? I mean, since I’m the one that posted it and all. Seems to me I’d know what I meant.
::shrug:: Well, I always liked Herman’s Hermits. Where is the karaoke machine?
That would be useful. However, people do not normally post to clarify remarks before posting, due to the fact that that would take too much time. I would have asked for a clarification, if I didn’t think I got it, but, it worked as a joke the way I read it. No need for any explanation, I thought. Obviously I was wrong, but still….
And don’t call me Sparky!
Wasn’t Herman’s Hermits kind of a proto Boy Band?
God damn it! Host by my own petard!
Ten bucks says [del]our buddy[/del] you’ll link to this quote sometime in the future as an example of me admitting I was wrong.
Are you discussing the thread in which I referred to the Bar Kokhba and you didn’t know who he was? The thread in which you insisted the only historical claims about Jesus that a Jew could possibly accept as true would come from a time machine?
Yes, you were certainly on your game there.
Scott, if I ever link to it, it would be as an example of you taking a joke with good humor.
Down doobee doo down down.
Comma comma down doobee doo down down.
Comma comma down doobee doo down down.
Beating up is hard too-oo-oo do.
Yup, that one. You see, you refused to believe what the actual facts of the case was. And besides, what I said about a time machine was true. While I didn’t meant it seriously, the only way for a jew to accept a savior would be to personally witness them fulfilling all the proofs. If this “jesus” was the savior, the only way to witness it would have been a time machine.
How do you know He didn’t use one?
Let me get this straight. By he, do you mean B.Rick?
Doh! I meant to say “Rick”, not B. Rick. “B” simply is not his first initial.
Bricker !!! A Neil Sedaka fan!!! Rock On!!!
Does not compute.
Scott, You continue to amaze me. You were wrong on the internment issue. You were clearly demonstrated to be wrong. The executive order 9066, which ordered the internment, said that everyone with “foreign-enemy ancestry” was to be interned, not registered aliens and their relatives. Here’s a quote from Wikipedia:
Much of the historical discussion decrying this event has been directed at the fact that many of those interned were US citizens who were NOT the spouses or offspring of aliens. They just had Japanese, Italian or German ancestors. The government was able to find these people using census data, not alien registration data.
That wasn’t what I asked there, nor was it what I asked above.
I asked there, and repeated above, “What HISTORICAL FACTS might a Jew accept about Jesus?”
Anything. Did the man exist? About what time? Where did he live? Those are historical facts.
Then why the hell did it go on for many pages about whether a jew could accept jesus as the savior?
Well, okay then. The answer to your question is that there are no existing records that would allow a reasonable person (much less a jew) to believe in even least detail about jesus. Birthdate, what time he was alive, etc.
Presumably, the best evidence in favor would be a detailed report from a trusted source, such as an archeology dig, telling of acts preformed by a person matching the description of the christian jesus. (As opposed to multiple other supposed sons of the sun god.)
They got it from that super secret list of American citizens, the FUCKING US CENSUS
From that cite
Was Field instructed to use lists garnered by the Smith Act? No, the US Census.
That cite is a general overview of the timeline of interment, but it is itself well documented. If I had more time or desire, I would do all the footwork for you.
It also seems to be monumentally idiotic to claim that Japanese aliens would have to be be related to any American citizens, or would be compelled to list every known relative in the US. Or that every Japanese-American citizen would be related to at least one Japanese alien and be traceable that way. Of course, idiocy never stopped you before.
No, it didn’t.
Because you are, but you will never admit it, since you are right 100% of the time.
I didn’t look up your specific Wiki cite, but this is from Wikipedia:
Says American citizens. American citizens who were on record since they filled out a census, not because of some convoluted link to Smith Act list association to American citizens. I don’t know what to think of your link to Japanese comic books.
See, we HAVE tried to tell you how it really went. You just refuse to listen since, in your mind, you already have it all figured out.
The Cite I gave earlier has a nice bibliography. Not that I would expect you to actually follow up on any of it, no need since you’ve already won.
I’m still following this thread out of shear bloody mindedness now.
Anyone else thinking of the tag line from AVP ?
