Scotti: Almost. I drove through the night to get back to L.A. so I can haul the motorcycles up. I’m planning on taking off on Sunday. Today I called the gas company, the phone company, the unemployment department, the cell phone company, and the cable company. I need to take the cable box back tomorrow and make a phone call to transfer the mobile.
I melt when a particular good friend of mine says he’s thinking of me dearly and affectionately. As for the word “darling,” I am not immune to that. (or “sweetheart,” but only when certain people say it)

I’m with you, Lord Ashtar. I ran into a friend of mine, a very Aussie-bloke type friend, in a shopping mall once, and he said “Hey, sweetheart!” Unbeknownst to said friend, I’ve had a ginormous crush on him ever since.
