Scrambled word game

There’s a word game in the local paper in which you first have to rearrange some scrambled words, and then use the highlighted letters in those words to complete a sentence. For fun, let’s see who’s the first to decipher this message.

The scrambled words are first. Under the scrambled words are the positions of the highlighted letters in the descrambled words–indicated by an *

The highlighted letters can be used to complete the sentence at the bottom. Ok, here goes:

L I O D S
E L E F T T
T O U N D
T R Y M H H

      • . *
      • . * *
      • . *
  • . . . . .

“Please _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ the _ _ _ _ _ _.”

The winner will receive muchas accolades and the honor of creating the next word jumble.

The sentence ran together. It should be:

Please

the
_ _ _ _ _ _.

I have the answer; the hard part of designing a new puzzle reamins.

Solid
Fettle
Donut
Rhythm

“Don’t Feed The Trolls”

Okay:

ANAIG
ECLEH
HATTC
WOLFOL

“----- KNOWS —”

GW…you’re supposed to put the * in the places where the highlighted letters appear in the descrambled words, not it the scrambled words…otherwise there’s no point in descrambling them.

I did figure out what you meant, and you’re right. He does.

Wanna try again?

Sorry. In my “scramble” to be first, I screwed up!
