If it’s none of his (or our) business, why do we all seem to know about it?

  1. Saying someone is a virgin isn’t an insult. It’s either true or false, but I can’t figure anything about it that’s insulting. Further, with one notable exception, virgins don’t generally get pregnant, so Lust4Life ranting about you being a single mother was…odd. Honestly I thought perhaps there had been a MPSIMS thread or 17 about your new boyfriend or something.

  2. If you don’t want people to know about your private life, why in God’s name would you have posted about it 30,000 on a public message board? Really, that seems like a poorly thought out course of action.

  3. If you’re going to pit people - particularly for posting a lot, you have to know that you’re going to get some flack back. That’s how it always happens in EVERY pit thread. It has happened spectacularly so in every one of YOUR pit threads.

If your so concerned about us knowing or not knowing about the state of your hymen, you probably shouldn’t have posted about the damn thing. Personally, I’m have about as much interest in your sex life as I have about the price of eggs in Melbourne - that is to say none whatsoever. However, there are people on the internet that are more intersted in thinking about a young woman’s girl bits than I am, and you can’t possibly tell me that has never occured to you.

I’m really not defending QED because he typically posts like a total douchebag, however, I really can’t see what was offensive about his comment. You’re either a virgin or your not. If you are, so what - so are lots of other people. If you’re not - again, so what - unless you’re actually having sex while you post (and if so, well done you) it’s really not relevant.

If you want to get offended at someone, get offended at Lust4Life who really seems to have a hard on for you - although based on the stuff he’s posted, I’m not sure he even knows who you are.

TO get back to the OP, the thing that has puzzled me about **scrambledeggs ** has been the nature of his questions. The starting word of most of them is “Why” and often they’re asking questions about human behavior. I find myself thinking “He expects *us * to be able to answer this? How *old * is this guy?”

It never occurred to me that he was seeking attention. I just think of him as very naive, possibly extremely young, but pretty bright.
