I note that it will be very hard to lynch the leader. Or at least it might be a very long day were we to try it. I agree that mixing it up seems right for now.
I’m not all that worried about the possibility of a Scum leader, since the leader’s actions will be public, and we can all see if the leader does something anti-scum. It might be relevant in the endgame, but for now, there’s really nothing Scum could do that would be worth revealing one of their own.
I don’t know how Boozahol gets a reputation for stirring shit; in all the games I’ve seen him in he’s been pretty cool about things like holding off on actions until they’re appropriate. And he’s one of the more experienced players, so I’ll

Leader should be capitalized. If I’m referring to the Town Leader, and I use leader, that’s wrong.
I think it’s safe to assume there’s some kind of role blocking role that prevents someone from stuff (becoming leader in this case). I think the question now is that is this scum or town? And are there similar roles for both scum and town?

Why isn’t one and only eligible to be Leader? And why are we being told this?
It’s possible that it’s as simple as that One and Only didn’t post a confirmation of their role PM. Though I haven’t checked to make sure everyone else had.
More likely, he’s either a scum or town role who can’t be Governor, or has used a day power which prevents him being governor. This would be a great thing for OaOW to address.
Well, I’m telling you so that you don’t vote for him, only for me or Mahaloth to come down and say, “Oops, he wasn’t a candidate after all”.
